I have a small head, so I ordered the medium. As I was waiting for it, (I didn't have long to wait because it came in a very timely manner) I kept thinking I should have gotten the large. Nope, the medium fits my small head perfectly. If my head were any bigger though I would need a large, so if you have a REALLY big head then you should probably go with the extra large.

The hat is well made, and does not have a "cheapness" to it. The brim on mine is very flexible, so I can put it up, down, or a combination of both! I am very satisfied with this hat!

I have a dome. I like the color green. I like to cover my dome on occasion. Preferably, I like to cover my dome with the color green. Therefore, I like this hat. The darker green color in the photos is misleading. The actual green color of the hat is more of a khaki green. This annoys both me and my dome. But, I still like the hat.

Great looking and fitting hat. I went with this one because it was cheaper than the other Goorin Bros.' hats, just in case I didn't like it. Boy howdy have I been pleasantly surprised. Not too tight, stays on in the wind, gets compliments every time I'm out. It's definitely a more casual hat because of the slightly faded cotton, but that's just a consideration, not a deal breaker. Overall, great hat.

Very nice beanie. It came in the mail sooner than I expected. I was also pleased with the packaging and I loved the Thank You card that I received. It made me feel appreciated for buying something. Overall, the hat is very good and warm. The only thing I will say, is... if you have a big head, this hat probably isn't for you. It says it's one size fits all.. but I had to literally try and stretch it out to make it fit me just right. But all in all, I am very pleased with my purchase. Thank you.

And to be honest, it isn't a perfect fit, but he can wear it. It is very well made does not seem at all inexpensive, and I only paid about 10 for it. The stitching is good. The color is good. Altogether, certainly a good purchase.

after looking for a good all round cap for the cold weather, I went back to wool. They are comfortable, not itchy. In the real cold weather, it takes a good 5 minutes or so for the warmth from your head to transfer enought to the hat to keep your head warm. The ears, in my opinion, really need the cuff in the hat. That said, they hat is big enough for the average head. Also, when they get wet, they dry quickly and sweat somehow does not cause the hat to smell. It is 100% wool, so when you want to wash it, I would recommend hand washing in woolite or something mild and air dry

FIRST, I'll say say that I don't understand people giving 1 star reviews to products because they are the wrong size or because they are too expensive. WTF, people? Really? You didn't even buy the damn thing but you give it 1 star because of price? Who does that...and how does that make it a 1 star product??

Anyway... just like some others, I got this for a Raoul Duke/HS Thompson costume. However, everyone knows the one Depp wore in the movie had a green underside around the brim. I searched all over for one like that with no luck. I just took a big, chisel tip primary green Sharpie and colored the underside of the brim with no problem. Just a tip for the peeps who are getting this for the same costume purposes.

The hat itself is fine. Seems constructed well. Fits well, if you use the SIZE CHART and MEASURE your FAT HEAD. It's made in China, but probably doesn't contain lead and I won't be feeding it to my dogs...so whatever.

Buy the ticket...take the ride.

To start off it's yellow. Who wouldn't want a yellow cap?? It's adjustable in fit but not the velcro type; it actually has those plastic circles you snap in the back. I prefer the velcro because it's easier to deal with and unlike it, the circles can get bent or even broken off over time. But it's not a major complaint. The hat is nothing spectacular but if you want color in your life, there are many to choose from! Also the hat has a soft feel. Other than that I can't describe it.

Good hat, lovely color and cheap. No complaints!

This hat in each color looks exactly like Amazon's pictures.

It's made in China, so don't expect top quality. The fabrics actually feel kind of cheap.

As you can see in the picture, the bill is slightly curved. The front is made of foamy fabric that stands up straight. It has plastic snap closure in the back, which is a must for trucker caps, am I right?!

However, I have to deduct 2 stars for it being too big for my head, and I've always been known as a big-headed kid! I bought a few of them in different colors not knowing this, so now I'm stuck with a bunch of hats that I don't wear because I'd look like a toddler wearing his dad's trucker hat.

Got this hat as a gift for a friend's daughter. I'm not sure what exactly makes it a 'racing' hat, I'm guessing that's just a style name or something. She liked the design, as it wasn't your typical 6-panel baseball cap. Interesting choice of closure, with a buckle strap. I hope in the future though they provide other types of closures such as fixed or snapback, they should have made the strap pink too. Very sturdy and well made, good construction.

I collect them--seldom wear them--mostly because society isn't a hat sort of culture--only leggy models on runways and rich Hollywood types out for fashion plate looks in gossip rags or eccentric diehard hippies seem to wear them. Well, I wear THIS hat! And it gave me courage to start wearing all my other hats, to boot! I am old now and I feel like being eccentric! This particular hat is wool and green and clever, and so 1880's looking--seafaring, and all that. Not sea captain--sea merchant. Sailor from England type. It is a class act all by itself. Very rich looking. The brown/rust colored band is good quality leather (or appears to be leather)--and highlights the green wool nicely. I wear it with so many outfits--dressed in hippie like skirts, jeans, shorts, cotton dresses, wool dresses, business suits, cashmere sweaters and nice slacks. It would look good with skinny jeans, too. I just don't happen to wear those. I like this hat. You got that by now, huh? Nice lining--looks like silk--although it isn't. It is a man's hat made for a woman.

Overall a nice looking hat and decent quality. Sweatband is thin though and attached to a plastic frame/stiffener, so order loose and pad sweat with foam tape for a custom, comfortable fit. I'll probably buy another one or two of different colors because they are decent.
