The only thing I would change on this cap would be to extend the coverage of the neck cape. I wore this cap with other Aqua Designs Sun Protective wear for total sun protection while out fishing on Lake Superior and while searching for agates along the shores of the lake. The cap is lightweight and comfortable to wear and can be adjusted to fit helpful on windy days the cap can be cinched up tighter to stay on your head. The quality of this hat with removable neck cape is very good. I would definitely recommend this product to others seeking sun protection.

My hat size is 7.75" . This had is about 3/8" too small and I assume it will shrink if it gets wet then drys.

But also, the bill is not the same as depicted, it is smaller.

For $25 would not recommend. I did find a great long bill fishing hat at BassPro and will go back there for another 2.

I bought this cap to replace one I left in a mangrove swamp in Belize a couple of years ago. It's comfortable, lightweight, and does the job of keeping the sun off of my bald head and neck while fishing the Carolina salt marshes where I live. Can't say that it makes me a better fisherman, but I suppose I have a better shot at the "best dressed" award now.
