This is my 1st Akubra hat. I am very pleased with it. Very well made.
I am giving it a 5 instead of a 4 because, for a perfect fit one would have to try it on in the store, or have a custom hat made.
As I live hundreds of miles from any store that would sell a nice fedora, this is my solution
The hat shipped, quickly, safely double boxed with the interior box having a handle to carry the hat.
I wear a size 7 1/2 this is a size 60, so it is a little loose on my head.The DelMonico Hat co. offers to send reducing tape which one puts in the band to tighten it up a little. When I called they were very polite and are sending me the tape.
I expect that it will provide just the right enough tightening.
