this was made to look like a normal size beanie, but do not be fooled. it literally fits my friends 2 1/2 year old daughters head.

It would be lovely, if it could fit my head. I am 22 y/o female, 5'4 and average weight.. yet it barely goes on my head and the bottom which i ordered to cover my ears, or at least just above them for a cute look.. doesnt even come close to touching my ears. it should be sold as a childs beanie. really only ordered it to bring up total in my cart for free shipping anyways.. so oh well i guess. get what you pay for..

I was given fair warning by several people who reviewed this item, but didn't listen. My head is fairly small, so I thought I could get away with a smaller beanie. Not so... it's the size of a yamaka on me. Unfortunately, it is what I was looking for -a light, open crocheted knit, but it's stiff instead of soft and just won't give so I can get it further down than the top of my head.

I have a small head and I usually have trouble finding beanies that are small. This one is perfect for Kundalini Yoga, because it covers my head but not my ears. I love that it's cotton so it won't overheat my head and make me get all sweaty. And I can put it in my washing machine. It also shipped fast. Thank you!!
