We live in Germany and my husband loves to run, but was put off by the cold. I bought this for him last winter and he said it worked perfect for keeping him warm. He is 6' and about 185lbs and this fit him perfect.

When running in cold weather it is important to keep ears and neck covered and warm to prevent a cold and even the mouth, but sometimes it is nice to breath fresh air. It didn't feel restricting or too hot. He liked having the option to keep his mouth covered or open.

Looks well constructed and warm, but way too small. Even after trying to stretch it, it still felt too snug. I will probably just give it away to a nephew or niece.

Pro: it is really very warm

Con:

It is hard to breathe through, i had to poke more holes

It fogs the crap out of my glasses/goggles

I have to really stretch it to get my chin into the actual chin shaped part, and then it hurts. I generally pull it up so my chin is in the neck area and the chin part is bunched around my face, which makes fogging worse

I wouldnt recommend but I'm not quite ready to get a new one

My husband lost his previous balaclava and I have had a hard time locating one similar in style. He especially likes the holes by the nose and mouth. He's so happy I found this would definitely recommend.
