I have a size 8 head. I have been to Key West 3 times and visited the same well stocked hat store each time. Stuck my head in the door as I have on the past trips and asked, "any size 8 Panamas?". This trip the clerk said yes, 2. One was this model Panama and it fit perfectly. In addition; it is light on the head, looks good, feels cool, and the feature I like the best is the flexible brim which should you bump it in a doorway, the brim bends rather than knocking the hat off my gord.
Considering buying another for our second home. Worried about being on an airplane with it and some ass will toss his brief case on it while I am napping.
