It's a bit large in my opinion but very warm, it's a black beanie, i would purchase again. Carhartt makes good quality products.

This hat is well built and looks great. It is also warm. It does not let wind in. I would definitely purchase again.

Best Deals for Carhartt Men's Convertible Hat

First off, this is a nicely made hat; tight threading with a heavy feel to it as hats go. It also has a nice indiscreet vertical Carhartt logo on it which ads a nice style to it unlike some hats I see with a nearly life size polo horse stitched to it.

However, this hat is made for a water buffalo headed person, or someone who's head is shaped like a husky crayon. It is ridiculously tall.

When I folded up the edge to lower the top of the hat it make the edge of the hat the size of a school black board so that was a no go.

I really wanted to like this hat and honestly I would wear it as a ski hat since any style goes when skiing as long as it's warm.

I think this hat would work well for someone with long hair that wants to tuck their hair up in the hat or if you just want a hat that makes you look like you're wearing a lookout tower, if so, then this is the one.

This hat is waaaaay too big (long). Even when cuffed (like in the pictures) its ridiculously large. I will have to return it.

The material seems nice and warm though.
