The color will be lighter than the picture (I have the Brown/Stone) and the brown is much lighter than picture on here.
The hat is not structured, as clearly stated in the description, so it is floppy and won't look rigid like the pictures. Overall, the quality, texture and price are great and the shipping was really fast.

At $8 bucks this is a great deal for a nice quality cap with th added addition of actaully being big enough to fit well. I usually order a XL cap or hat just to be on th safe size since most seem to run small. The Port Authority cap is a one-size with a adjustable velcro band on the back that sizes up just fine. The bill is sturdy witout having that stiff as a plank feel that some cheaper caps have. About the right size also being enough to shade your eyes without feeling like a pelican. All around great cap. Gonna buy a couple more.

Honestly, this is the first hat I've ever bought myself, and one of only a few that I've ever worn, so my expectations weren't that high.I got the brown one. It's decent-looking, but as other reviewers have mentioned, there is no "vintage wash." The false advertising is the primary reason for my lower rating. The photo as of now is highly post-processed. I'm not exaggerating; they couldn't have gotten it to look like that through lighting alone. In real life, the hat is far more plain, but not ugly.
I don't want to blame the hat for this, although I don't see any measurements here on Amazon (maybe I'm not looking hard enough), so perhaps it's not entirely my fault...
Anyway, the hat is too small for me. It's not wide enough in the front to fit snugly, even when I loosen the Velcro to compensate for my apparently-gargantuan noggin. The narrowness of the front of the cap causes it to rise up to a part of my head on which it will fit (but not securely), and consequently, it always feels like it's going to fall off or be blown away by the wind. I haven't had this problem with other typical yard-sale run-of-the-mill adjustable baseball caps, which is why I never realized I had the head of Stewie Griffin.
Stays on great with some duct tape, though, and adds some nerd fashion points! ;-)
I would suggest--and I am going to do this myself--looking for a different cap if you're concerned about your head size or if you want a vintage look, which you won't find on this hat. There are plenty of choices here in the Amazon. When I find a better one, I'll mention it in the comments here. (Really. It bothers me when people say, "I'll report back with my findings," or, "I fixed it!" without explaining how, and then disappear forever. Oh... I'm way off-topic.)
