I wore this on 4th of July and got a bunch of compliments. My only issue is that the hat is clearly of poor quality, but it has stood up after a particularly rough long weekend (wearing it every day on the beach, in the pool, and even ocean once). I love that hat, although I do not fully understand why the stars stop in the front middle of the hat. So low quality, but it is cheap anyways,

Not being a hat wearer I can't say much about the experience of it. My purpose for buying it is hair control. I'm growing my hair to satisfy a "mid life crisis" and can't seem to keep it out of my eyes and ears...
