This was my first purchase of a Brixton and I would buy from them again. I've had several Kangols in the past; which are nice, but tend to have a wider brim then I want. This Brixton has a more narrow profile, which I found looked better on me. I ordered a taupe/black in Medium and the sizing was perfect for my 7 1/4 head. The lining is quilted (I've seen others say silk) and is comfortable.

I gave it a 4 out 5 for two reasons. First, although it has a narrow profile it does poof out a little on the sides near the brim. Second, the material is 100% cotton. This makes it lighter and cooler in warm weather to wear than wool (such as Kangol), but cotton wrinkles easy and I find wool just looks better. Aside from that I am very happy with my purchase.

I got this hat in medium. I'm around a 7 1/4, which is actually what the hat says inside, not medium. The sizing chart says medium will fit up to a 7 3/4, but I'm kind of skeptical of that being possible considering the fairly snug fit on my head. So maybe go bigger if you're at the upper end of medium.

Mine came a little wrinkled despite pretty good packaging, and I still haven't managed to get it looking quite the way I want it. But overall it's a great looking hat, and after a few months of fairly regular use has held shape very well.

Cap arrived in good condition and is really well made. I ordered a small and it came with a size 7 tag which is perfect for me. I have received so many comments about how nice this cap looks and I did not expect that kind of a reaction. I don't like ball caps and this is a great alternative. I would buy another one with out a second thought.

I was sitting in a waiting room and looking around and saw this 40+ year old guy wearing a backwards baseball hat and dressed like he was ~20 or so. It looked so bad that right there and then I decided that isn't what I wanted to look like. When I left the appointment I threw my old baseball hat away and came to Amazon to look for something new. I decided I wanted a hat like Hugh Laurie would wear on that show House. This is the one I picked. It's pretty nice and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the inside is made of a nice soft satin-like material which feels good against my bald head.

I like my new hat.

Great hat. This hooligan style hat not only makes me feel like a hooligan again, it also improves my ability to tell people how things used to be back in my day. The hat's old-timeyness is epic.

I got the large charcoal/red plaid. It looks exactly like the picture, and seems like good quality.

Large turned out to be the 7 1/2 (23 1/2 inches) for this particular hat. I know 7 1/2 can be considered large or extra large depending on where you are looking (it is large for Brixton and Land's End, but it is extra large for MLB.com and various other places).
