I really like this hat, and at the price it is an absolute steal. It takes up very little room in your pocket (thin material, folds up small). It looks just fine (you may not win any fashion awards, but you will be presentable and fairly cool-looking). And it really keeps your head dry. It is amazing how well this cap works in even quite persistent showers. The rain tends to roll off before it goes down your neck or into your ears. This is because the cap flattens out a bit and overhangs your ears and hair a fraction. Of course, it will not keep your lower head dry in a heavy rainstorm -you need a big all-round brim on a hat to do that.

So, if you like ivy caps like this, and you want to stay dry in wet weather, this may be the best bang for your buck anywhere!

very nice looking cap. looks cool and the fit is great. I'm thinking of buying the black wax cotton also so i'll be able to wear it with different shirts and jackets.

I really like this cap. It is not my favorite by any means but is a good waterproof/water-resistant black cap. I wear glasses and like to wear a cap when it is raining to keep the rain off my glasses and this is my go-to cap for rainy days. The material is not what I expected but it is certainly not of poor quality and I am not disappointed in it. The fabric is like a very tightly woven nylon but it is not nylon it is cotton, it is shiny and slick like nylon too. It has a snap brim on front that I did not realize it had when I purchased it, that is not a problem it is simply a fact. If I had it to do over I would purchase it again because it is a GREAT VALUE for the cost and IMHO it looks good. I was looking for a waterproof cap of this style and this fits the bill, I do recommend it if you are looking for the same.
