This hat is great other than the black dye seems to bleed endlessly. The recipient of this gift has washed it multiple times and every time he wears it, it leaves a black band across his forehead.

Our most recent attempt to remedy this is by molding a piece of paper towel into the front band of the cap so that the dye gets sopped up before it marks up his head. It's so weird that we have washed it SO many times and it keeps bleeding black.

For the shape of my head, I would have liked the hat to be a bit more square rather than so round. Either way, it fits comfortably. It is mostly elastic from the back 3/4 of the hat, so it "hugs" your head just enough to stay on without being too tight.
