I am going to get this out in the open...I have a BIG head. 25 inches around.

It's tough for me to find a hat that fits my bulbous noggin.

I ordered a 3XL Henschel because it claimed to fit 25 3/8" heads.

I am here to announce joyously that it does! It fits PERFECT!

Not too tight, not too loose.

I have finally found a nice leather hat that fits my Sputnik sized head...and there is much rejoicing.

I like this hat. I have wanted it for a while and i got it. it fits alright, a bit too big in the back but close enough without being adjustable. the brim is bigger than the one pictured by a little bit, but doesn't bother me. the leather is good, i need to wear it out more to match my worn jacket. Overall a good buy for the rugged winters of New England. Rain rolls off and it keeps the spermatic sun out of my eyes. it doesn't insulate very well but i put a wool hat underneath and all is good. I recommend this item. good buy! good seller.

After being informed by my wife that I needed to find a new hat (she said my older one was about to be donated whether I liked it or not) I went in search of a replacement. I couldn't help myself when I came across this hat. My only gripe is that the sizing can be tricky. I originally ordered the Large size only to find it too big. A stiff wind would have ripped it off my head in an instant. The Medium, however, was almost too tight. Some breaking in will surely stretch it out some and loosen it though.

Here we are almost a year later and this hat has held up BEAUTIFULLY. It's showing signs of loving use due to the leather soaking up sweat from wearing it in the sun, but that only adds to the character of the hat. It gets commented on everywhere I go and has become an essential piece of my everyday life. It keeps the rain off beautifully, it keeps my head warm when it's cold out, and it always does an awesome job of keeping he sun out of my eyes. I'm seriously considering buying another just to hide away for that fateful day when this one is no longer wearable (long down the road).

You Will NOT be sorry about buying this hat.

I've been looking for a nice leather fedora for quite some time. And I finally found the perfect one.

I'm glad that it's cowhide. I'm also, especially glad, that it's made here in America.

It fit real nice. I've got a big head, so I ordered XL. It fit just right.

I conditioned it with some Saddle Soap and put some Leather Lube on it to protect it from the elements. Mainly rain, if I get caught in it. And it's good to go.

Lastly, if you're like me, and you love leather, it will go with most everything. It works with my biker jacket, my bomber jacket, and even with my biker vest. Heck, it works with my London Fog trench coat. My brother said I looked like a mix of Indiana Jones, Inspector Gadget and a government goon.

I bought this hat as a gift to my brother who works in the Middle East. That means it traveled thousand miles away and reached to its destination after almost 15 days. But it was all worth it!!! My brother loves it so much that he said he was going to wear it everyday to work. Eventhough it is a brown leather, still it matches his coat and tie. :)

At first I wasnt impressed with the product because I find it tooo small (I was thinking similar to Indiana Jones hat) but since my bro loves it, I love it too! :))))))))))

I am planning to buy another one but similar to Indiana Jones hat for my other brother who lives in Asia. :)

I think this is a great buy so I highly recommend it!
