I don't mean "generic" in a bad way. I was very pleased with the quality of the hat and the fact that it has no advertising logo on it. The fit was good, if a little snug... I should have ordered a larger size... but not uncomfortable. The material seems of decent quality. I wear the hat to the gym and for the past couple of weeks of constant use it has held up very well. I think that the price is very reasonable for this hat. Recommended!
