The hat is fine but I thought like other cashmere items we own, it would be soft. Its really itchy.

First off, I purchased the black version of this hat and I loved it so much I ordered the gray version. WARNING: i'm not sure if they have separate vendors that make these hats, but the grey hat wasn't nearly as soft or lightweight. It was very comfortable in it's own right, but I returned it because it was not on par with the black hat.

This hat is so comfortable that I find myself tempted to turn the A/C on in the house during the winter so that I have an excuse to wear it all day and never have to take it off. This hat is buttery soft and wraps itself around your head like a glove. I implore this company to make pants, gloves, shirts and underwear of this exact type of cashmere. My head has never been so cozy in a hat. And it's extremely warm, especially considering how lightweight it is. I higly recommend this hat. I would recommend the black because I wouldn't give the same review for the gray hat i received. You would think they'd be exactly the same besides the color.
