I purchased this hat as I needed a winter hat that convered my ears, but I can't stand typical "ski cap" winter hats. However, I also didn't want an "old man" hat with ear flaps either. So, a plain (no dang' logo!) black, wool baseball hat was what was needed. I saw other hats like this online from soem German company, but they were price in the $80's! Bit too rich for a winter hat in my opinion. I found this one online, and while a bit more than I would usually spend on such a hat it fit the bill. It look's sleeker online than in person. It has a bit of a peak in the front of the hat rather then a rounded look (I prefer the rounded loook). It looks a bit clunky, but not bad considering it has some small "ear pads" shoved into it! The earpads aren't very thick, and they just cover the bottom of my big ears. I don't know how it will hold up when it get's real cold, but I'll update this post. In short, it is an ok-looking winter-earflap hat that won't make you look like Elmer Fudd. Bit pricey given what it is, but not much else on Amazon like it.

i look great in this hat. the girls love me in this...... buy it and you will get all kinds of dates and might even get lucky........
