I bought this hat to protect my ears, neck and head from being sunburned b/c I'm the most pastie white guy a white guy can be. This hat when worn is kind of ugly but it WORKS. I don't get sunburnt on my ears, head or neck anymore. I also get a lot of looks and comments on that hat so if you don't want any attention don't buy this hat. If you don't care about the attention and you want an unburnt head then this is the hat for you!

Cap looks great, good quality and really light weight, but it was supposed to be an "adjustable one size fits all" but it desn't fit my head, it's too small even with the adjustable cord opened at its maximum. I hadn't had that problem with other adjustable caps before, but this one it's too small. And the rear shade is to close to the neck and ears (it covers the ears to much and you hear different) making it unconfotable to wear. I'm returning this one and buying a wider one. I bought this for vacationing in Arizona and New Mexico. Went on many hikes during sunny, 95+ degree weather and this hat kept me from burning. I have very light skin and burn easily. The hat is very light weight and flexible. You can store it in a backpack, suitcase, etc... without damaging it. My husband bought this for his great adventures outdoors. He loves to go crabbing and can spend the day outside. This hat is lightweight, and nice quality. It washes well and keeps its shape.
