I purchased this for my husband who, admittedly, doesn't have a petite cranium. It was VERY tight and not in the "it'll wear in" kinda way; it is simply too tight to be comfortable. He wears L/XL usually and the description did say it fit up to an XL.
I was going to return it, but it fits me like a glove! It's like this hat was made for my lady-noggin! So, I'm absolutely keeping it and getting my money's worth out of the purchase, but -1 star because it appears to fit up to an L, not XL.This hat was exactly as described and the flex fit part made it easy to order without knowing the sizes of my friends head
