This is a well-made cap with a BIG flap to cover the back of your neck. But if the wind is in your face, the flap is virtually useless. It needs a method to hold the flap down or tie it under your chin. The flap really does flap!

The elastic fit system works well. Shipping was fast and the price is good.

If the wind stays at your back, it's perfect. Of course you can fold the flap and stuff it inside the cap. All things considered, it's a good deal.

Sometimes, in a Texas Summer, the wind blows from the North, but 90% of the time it's from the South. Keep heading North and you'll love this cap.

when i saw the advertisement, i assumed there was some way this hat was supposed to help you in the winter time. There is nothing. it is just a thin regular piece of hat material. I will still use it in the summertime, because it keeps the sun off the sides of my head.
