Reading the previous reviews, I noted that people disliked this hat saying that it was oversized. Maybe it's because their heads were small. Well, I have a big head. I've always had problems finding beanies that will stay on my head without slowly slipping off my head. This hat stays on perfectly, is warm, and fits well. It's definitely not a OFA. If you wear a hat size larger than 7.5, this hat will fit you well. If not, I recommend buying a Columbia OMNIwarm hat. It comes in two different sizes, both which are a little too small for my head.

Now that you've probably laughed at this review and my big head, you should go out and buy this hat.

That is if you don't have a small head.

I wear an 8 1/4 hat size. This cap fits great because of the stretch. Great looking. Nice and warm. Covers my ears the right amount.

Best Deals for Carhartt Men's Fleece Hat

Sadly, unlike M. Carlson, who only has a big head, I evidently have a gargantuan head. Being fleece, this toboggan doesn't stretch very much (or contract, for you silly small headed people). This can make it a bit uncomfortable for us not just big but gargantuan headed people. I'll never understand why you can get 2,574 different fits of jeans but one-size-fits-all condoms and hats are sold.

That being said, unlike most toboggans it is shaped right (like a human head). So it doesn't have the tendency to creep up like most. The soft fleece makes it very comfortable (assuming it fits). It is very, very warm and great for keeping dry when the snow is falling. These are seriously valuable, which is why I still wear mine and why I still gave it a pretty good rating.

On the downside, people from up north will look at you funny when you call it a toboggan, but I don't suppose that is the fault of the good people at Carhartt.

First, a 'one size fits all' that actually fits a 24" head. That's enough in itself unless you are one of the little headed ppl.

Nice soft material, no more itching. Warm, and comfortable enough to sleep in.

Lastly, I detest brands/logos/etc on my clothes. The 'Carhartt' patch came off easily after some quick work with a razor. WithOUT damaging the hat for a change.

I've never been happier with a clothing purchase, especially over the net. You really can't go wrong with this one.
