Just so you know before buying this hat, let me tell you that it is MADE OF PLASTIC. Maybe it said this in the description, but I was not aware of this fact. The picture made it seem like it was some sort of fabric material to me. That being said shipment was very fast and product was affordable.Best Deals for Scala Vintage White Cowboy Hat
I've been searching hat stores for years, trying to find a white straw, pinch front cowboy hat. They are never stocked! Finally, I searched the net and found this one. I almost didn't buy it because another reviewer said it was made of "plastic," but I assure you, this is NOT a plastic hat. This is a beautifully made and shaped, straw cowboy hat. The off-white, "vintage" color makes it even better. This is now my single most favorite item in my clothes closet.Update: A friend liked the hat so much, I got him one for his birthday. Compliments from strangers every time I wear it.

Everyone needs a cowboy hat they can wear in the worst possible weather and not have to worry about it or end up like a drown rat.This is the hat for that.
They say it's "treated canvas" and that's exactly what it looks like. it may not be bullet proof but it sure-as-heck is weatherproof.
The unexpected bonus is it looks pretty darn good.

Was dissappointed that the hat is plastic. The overall look of the hat is nice and it wears well but a cloth would be better.
