I love the design and style of this leather Greek fisherman's cap. The leather is soft and supple with a very fine finish. When ever I wear it I get compliments and questions on where I got it; it is that eye catching. Hartford York staff are very personable, yet professional and friendly. They will go above and beyond to do what ever it takes to make you happy. I have never worked with such good staff in an Internet purchase. They understand how to treat a customer!

But; I am on my third XXL sized Zorba cap. They have all suffered from the the same fault, The bill is not holding up in the center where it joins the sweat band. a fold or crease develops. In two of them before it arrived; in one soon after wearing it. This leads to a fold developing in the sweatband of the cap. I do not know if this is a problem only with the XXL size. This will teach me to have a big head!

This is not a life or death issue, but the Hartford York staff went to extreme lengths to try to make the situation right. They sent two replacements and offered a refund. They did not stop trying until I said I was satisfied! They are good people.

Despite the flaw, I decided that I loved the cap enough to keep the third one they sent me even with the flaw; or "character mark" as I have decided to call it. I have $3 baseball caps that have better made bills than this, but the "pluses" far outweigh the "minuses" of this cap. Since other reviews did not mention this problem, I suspect it only occurs in the XXL size. I expect that this cap will wear into a comfortable well worn cap in which the character mark will not matter. I think you will love it as much as I do!

Six moth follow-up: Other than a small fold this continues to be a favorite of mine, It becomes more comfortable with wear and holds up nicely to weather. An almost perfect hat, I increased my rating from 3 to 4 stars.

Gets many compliments. Great in cold or moist wet weather. A little stiff, but that will change with time and use. Fits like the wool version which I wear more often. Great Price.
