I am somewhat of a hat collector, usually hats that have been deemed "trucker" hats, due to the mesh back and foam front. This hat fits that stereotype perfectly.
The quality of this hat is high. The stitching are all perfect and well done. Obviously, the hat was made my machine, but it was not haphazardly made to turn a product. After inspection I know the hat will last quite some time. Also, the stitching of the three O'Neill logos on the front are very well done and should not fray at all. The mesh is grey, which is perfect for me as I have too many hats with white and black mesh. The foam is obviously red. The bill of the hat is about a normal size, though some would say its smaller than others out there, when I compared it with my other hats, it seemed to be about the same. The only variation is that some hats have different shaped bills. There is a slight curve to this bill and having said that, it is not a bad curve. Personally, I think it makes the hat look a bit better.
Overall, the hat is top quality, and fits perfectly on my head. I have a bigger head and lots of curly hair so I fill the hat out pretty well. I only have the last two snaps in, and it holds up fine. So if you have a bigger head this hat should work great!
