I was not sure how it would work when I ordered it, but seems to solve the problem of a bit too large hat. Also the sweatband will help with keeping the hat clean. I do regret not ordering a couple at the same time as he could have used one in the back section of the hat also.

I have now purchased three sets of these to put inside of various hats for size adjustments and will likely buy more! They work perfectly and I can cut them into smaller sections as needed. I typically put them inside of the band of a hat, so it doesn't really rest against my head/forehead so I can't comment on how it works in that capacity. But the size and thickness is perfect for making my hats fit better.

Got a hat,the large was too small and ex-large was a little too big. I got this hat size reducer and it works well and easy put on with peel and stick adhesive strip.

These strips fall off after one use. The double sided adhesive remained on the hat but the bands separated from the adhesive on the 2 sets I bought. Your hatband then has adhesive on it that I have not yet figured out how to remove without ruining the hat....
