So i have a 2 year old and a 7 year old. Both boys love to be outside even late into the winter evenings,when it's dark around 4pm. I bought them these hats for several reasons. First, they are reflective which (obviously) makes them more visiable to cars in the neighborhood. Second, they are BRIGHT orange which makes my boys easy to keep track of at the busy town sledding area (or anywhere). The hats are nice and warm and covers their ears. They will be helpful when we are hiking in NH (it always seems to be hunting season up there so i always dress the kids in this blaze orange.) So far they seems to wash well and are holdig up nicely with my busy kids. Very happy with this purchase. Also, they arrived fast and the price was right.
