This thing rules. It is the perfect length, a good thickness, not too thin, not too thick. Keeps me warm in the 30-40F range. I'd say it is definitely more in the casual use category, but I think that is kind of obvious. Don't go climbing Everest with this. I wish they would have had black or grey for the same price. Great hat!
