lately all sorts of brands have been making "magic band" wallets. hard graft was the first i believe, but at 300 bones, thats pretty steep. they make no brand ones too, but the bands on those tend to stretch out quickly and the leather/pleather on them seem to wear out also, fraying at the corners and edges.
there seems to be a trend lately where men dont have the basic fold out wallets. the bifold or the trifold. rvca, makes a decent one, black with a racing stripe on the side. its pretty sharp.
black magic band wallets are nice. but for those that want a brown one that doesnt look bad at all, i give you the Brixton Men's Guild Strap wallet. the bands havent stretched out for me yet, and the brown is REALLY nice. its got a cowboy boot feel to the outside, and the grey colored felt inside contrasts with the exterior. why is it felt on the inside? well, if you do happen to get your wallet wet on say, a river rafting ride, normal wallets' bills tend to stick to the wallet. the felt inside keeps the bills from sticking to the wallet, thus making them easy to remove even when wet.
on top of that, this wallet also has a custom shaped pocket made just for putting guitar picks in it. great place to hold a spare, when the one you usually stick between three strings on the frets, has gone missing.
