I bought this beanie specifically because it is cotton. The wool ones do not capture sweat to well and are kinda itchy. I work out a lot and sweat gets in my eyes so I bought this to capture sweat... headbands look dumb. The beanie stretches out well but do not retract, so I have to wash them every 2 times I wear them so they shrink to regular size. Besides that they breathe well and are comfortable.

My poor husband has been freezing his bald head because I like the ceiling fan on and the window open. This cap really helps him keep his body heat in. It isn't too warm for indoors and isn't 't bulky. We are both happy now.

My husband has a "thinning" head of hair. While I have found that I like to have the house cool at night , his thinning hair has made it more difficult to sleep.. Ok so he whined because it was too darned cold for his head. This cap was the solution and has saved our marriage. He simply puts on the cap and I turn the thermostat to my comfort level. Who knew that This 100% cotton cap would promote harmony in a marriage? Honest to goodness it did!
