This hat and patch are made of good quality material. My only issue is with how deep the gusset is for the head. I wear a 7 7/8 hat, so it is fairly shallow for me.

I chose this hat with the mesh over the all cotton one based on reviews that said that it breathes better. They were right; this hat feels great on the head! The patches are good quality and the hook and loop sections on the hat seem sturdy. Overall a well built hat, especially for the price when you include the patches.

Deployed now in Afghanistan, while im not one of the outside the wire guys, this hat gets comments almost daily. Its hot, and humid and the mesh is great for breathing. bill forms good, patches stick great and are clear. Just a good dang hat, what else can i say?

Upon receiving this item,I found that the hat was very well made and the meshing in the back allowed for the wearer not to sweat as bad as other hats.The included patches really set off the hat and gave an even more military-like appearance :D This was a steal for the price,considering usually the hat itself is $15-20 alone and patches are usually another $4-5 each.I wear this hat whenever I go out b/c it is so comfortable and looks great :D
