This is a nice enough hat overall but will not fit sizes greater than 7 1/2. Even with the little cord let out all the way the hat just is not physically big enough.

I really like this hat. It is light, comfortable and a good price. I like the mesh sides, it is great for cooling. The material seems to be good quality and very washable. Good overall camping and hiking hat.

I wear a 7 1/4 hat, and this cap is tight and uncomfortable. I am sure it would have worked well for keeping the sun off my neck, but I won't be using it.

I like to garden and while my intention to put on sunscreen before I go out is there, my follow through isn't, so several sunburns later I found this hat. It has a long but flexible bill, like a baseball cap, the mesh on the sides really does keep you cool while providing shade for the sides and back of your neck and the top of the shoulder blades. I have a small head so being able to adjust it is awesome. It looks a little safari-ish and it took a few hours to get used to it flapping occasionally in the breeze but it also makes you look like a career outdoorsman which I'm not but like to pretend that I am.

The size for a "one size fits all" is way to small and doesn't stretch or adjust accept to even make it smaller. Made in China and think it is a design defect. It's so tight that I can't wear it for more then 10 minutes at a time(I have a 7-1/8 Hat size). Forget about trying to wear with a sweat band.
