While the quality is very good, it isn't as thick as I had imagined it'd be... Also, be it a physical abnormality or a product one, it is a little too small for my head. Having a one size fits all doesn't really work... It doesn't come down as far as I'd like on the back of my head, leaving it chilled by the wind... I've had many other beanies, and never ran into this problem, but I am known to have a large head...

Overall, if you have a small-med sized head, this product would be great for fall/spring use... I don't think it will keep you warm in the winter though... I suggest looking at other Columbia beanies maybe? Their quality is superb.

Great hat, kept my head warm during spring skiing, actually got a little too hott & can work for 40 dregee weather (which I was using it for) & cooler! My husband and I both got this hat so it can go for either gender
