I purchase this Ushanka for my self to wear to winter sports events. I was very excited to when it arrived. The packaging was quite peculiar, I was not home when it arrived, and my husband called me to inquire what on earth I purchased in a brown paper wrapper form Russia. I told him to open it, and with trepidation he did so. Much to his surprise a well travelled smooshed fox sprang forth.

After a few days of fluffing, our smooshed fox was just absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately for me, it was too large. Very fortunate for him, it fit him perfectly. He was very happy to have gotten such a wonderful surprise from Russia. I on the other hand returned to the website for shopping.

I contacted Vic, and he was amazing. Helped me with proper measuring for my own hat to be ordered, and we kept the fox, and ordered the white fox with pompoms for myself.

I am sooooo excited to get the white fox, I know it will be awesome.

This is a good-quality, beautiful item and it is well made. Only wish my head were smaller so it would fit properly. The seller answered my questions promptly....guess I should've asked about hat sizes. :)

As long as you confirm your size before ordering, get this hat it's great for cold weather.
