My head is big.
On un-stretchable L-size hat, my head goes in but I eventually get a headache due to tightness.
But on this stretchable hat, it fits nice and I'm pretty sure those with bigger head can wear this.
Positives: 2 layers, stretchable, descent style for anybody.
Negatives: Could stretch-out over time (depending on how you use it), not TOO warm in freezing-windy weather.

I used this hat on a backpacking trip where the nights would get down to about 50 degrees. It fit my extra-large head well and kept me warm in the tent and in the cold mornings and evenings outside.

You can wear this beanie both when it`s a little cold and freezing. I took it home to Russia and was totally fine wearing it during Winter. Well, it was just a little cold in it. But if you don`t expect Russian Winters, the beanie will be perfect. It looks good as well
