I am struggling with what kind on review to leave on this hat. I like the feel of it, and looks like it's made to stand the harshest winters, but it's large... I'm not saying I have an orange head, I'd say I have an average head and it's large! I bought two, gave one to a fiend I go fishing with, (he's got a larger pumpkin) I Saw his eyes light up when he saw it, than he put it on his head and you could see the disappointment on his face. This is the last time I'm buying an "one size" hat from the internet. I can only imagine how much bigger is going to get after a couple washes. I'm sorry I'm bashing a clothing item on it's size, nothing to do with it's quality, but since it's not offered in different sizes I thought I'd let you know, before you buy.

Working on a farm in New England offers many temperatures throughout the day. This hat kept me warm this morning when it was 30 degrees out but didn't get overheated when it was 55 and I was moving. Great hat for the price, would totally recommend.
