Pretty expensive for a plain hat. The head cup is really small and fit snug with your skull. The front visor is longer than usual and very very hard, almost feels like hard plastic in there. Definitely does not look like the picture when you wear it.

I hoped that by spending a ridiculous amount of money on a Woolrich hat, that I would get quality. Boy was I wrong. I've had it a month, and it's fine--except the color is fading--and I haven't even used it in the sun that much. I know that black often fades in the sun faster than other colors, but I also know that cheap dye jobs fade fastest of all. If you want to spend 5 times as much as you have to to get a hat that looks all orange-black sun-bleached fade after one month of minor use in the sun, this is the hat for you. Whoever invented the phrase, "you get what you pay for" probably was rewarded with one of these hats by a disgruntled believer. Oh, to have been born a genetic mutant with all thumbs--so I could point all of them DOWN for this hat.

Good hat, good velcro... Material ages fast though. There are more durable hats out there, but for the money it is a decent hat. I had a black one, potentially the lighter colors would age better.

The quality of this hat is what i have come to expect from Woolrich. Top notch all the way, strong stitch work and thick durable material. It does have a low profile fit and good stiff brim. Those using it to operate in will appreciate the snug, secure fit. Good job Woolrich keep up the good work.
