I don't normally write reviews for products I purchase on Amazon, but I'm making an exception in this case.
I've been in the market for an Ushanka for a long time when I stumbled across this one. It was really appealing in the photograph and description, what with the leather and sheepskin and all. I was wary about purchasing it, though, simply for the fact that it didn't have any reviews. I was worried about going into a purchase without any idea of what I would be receiving. After a lot of thought the idea of the perfect Ushanka got the better of me and I decided to order it.
I am very glad I did. The hat is beautiful, incredibly warm and extremely comfortable. The only thing that I would advise (and this is by no means a negative or 'con', therefore it didn't affect my ranking) is to not only listen to the seller's advice about stepping up your size a bit, but to actually go another size up on top of it for this particular Ushanka. The reason is that after taking the seller's advice of slightly increasing my size the hat is still incredibly tight once the ear flaps are put down. With them up, the hat fits perfectly, but wearing them down is very tight and pushes my eyebrows down like I'm Dr. Frankenstein's monster. It's cute, but it's not that comfortable. This doesn't bother me much because I don't plan on wearing the flaps down too often, but I thought you should all be aware of it. The seller did say that they're easy to stretch without harming the hat and would give me directions should I email and ask, so I think that's what I'll do.
TL;DR: Amazing Ushanka, consider ordering another size up on top of seller's sizing recommendation.
