I wanted a "beanie" but unfortunately have a giant head that keeps most of them from covering my ears. This had does the trick to keep my bald head warm. It came with a tiny square label sewed onto it that I didn't see in the pictures, but I removed that with a stitch puller because it kind of looked tacky.

Picked up this hat because the color and price were right. I found it does a good job of keeping my head warm in temperatures in the 30s. It does seem to be a bit of a static electricity magnet, but that's a minor concern. I don't think it's designed for too low temperatures, but it hasn't been below thirty since I first got it so I don't know that for sure.

My husband needed a plain black hoodie for a training program. We ordered both this one and the Wigwam Mills one http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003KQ696A/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_69. The Wigwam Mills one was incredibly itchy and not as thick. This one was soft and warm.

The reason I am giving a review so low is because the beanie is breaking in very little time, I have only less than a month and already falling apart very quickly.
