I bought this hat because I don't like baseball caps. It's very comfortable, the inner lining feels great, and it looks really sharp and unique. I have a medium sized head and bought the medium/large size, but it runs a little small and is a touch more snug than I'd like at its loosest setting. I'll break it in eventually, but just something to consider if you're not sure about going with a medium or a large. Also, it is super warm. I was hoping to use this as a summer cap, but between getting the darkest color and how well insulated it is, I think I'm only going to wear it in the fall and winter, or on rainy days. I might buy a second lighter colored hat to wear during the summer, because I am absolutely in love with its price and construction.
Great hat.

I live in MN where it stays below freezing for months at a time and sometimes goes below 0 F. It is rare that I find a hat that can keep my ears warm, especially in wind. So many of them are fine for my head, but they just don't cover the ears completely, even if they have ear flaps. This hat, however, has done an excellent job of that. It has a really great fuzzy, fleecy lining that is extremely comfortable and nicely warm without being too warm. It blocks the wind, and the ear flaps totally cover my ears and don't flap up in the wind. It was 7 degrees this morning with 30 MPH winds. I had to walk a mile in the weather and was so impressed with the hat that I had to write a review.I also really like the fact that it has a brim to help from falling snow or keep the sun out of my eyes, and the fact that the brim folds, to easily stuff into a backpack or large pocket. It looks only slightly Elmer Fuddish.
My head is a hat size 7 1/2 and I ordered a size L/XL which fits great. If your head is significantly bigger, you may find it to be too small. If your head is smaller, you can just pull on the draw string to make the hat smaller.
