I bought this hat a couple years ago and still have it today. While not my favorite hat by any means, it's a reasonably nice hat. I got the gray color and boy do I regret that. The pink camo, I think, would have been much more fun. The gray stands out, for some reason, against my other grays. I used this hat for a certain look that I used in Paintball.
By "destroyed" the description means that the hat has a few nicks and scuffs all over it. That seems to be the style now days. It's pre-worn, but I couldn't tell you if the "damage" is standard or if it varies from hat to hat. If you have a large head, I recommend skipping this hat. My head is about average and I find that the velcro clasp just barely has enough room to be worn without pinching my temples and giving me headaches. The two colored star pattern is of course chic if you're into ominous rock and roll patterns that have little to no meaning. Otherwise any old patrol cap is about the same.
My hat is actually becoming pretty badly damaged, and I think I will probably get rid of it soon. Mine came with scuffs along the brim, and in these two years the fabric has begun to pull back to reveal the plastic brim enclosed within. For the price, it's not bad.
