This is a great hat to wear for every day use. It's weathered look really sets the hat off. I am using this as my everyday wear hat. I save my other Dorman hats for special occasions. I particularly like the wide brim to protect my head from the suns UV Rays. Melanoma is on a rapid rise in the United States. It's important to have your head covered at all times. I would recommend this hat, it's made well, and looks good.

OK hat, looks a more on the vinyl side than weathered cotton, not too impressed. Size\fitting is on the large side. Not what I was looking for. The Dorfman Billings Oil Cloth Big-Brim Safari Hat is much nicer. Very happy with that hat. highly recommend the Billings hat.

Quite disappointed with this hat. It was listed as being made of cotton, but is actually 48% polyester, which gives it a slippery, plasticy feel. The chin cord is of very poor quality leather -thin, stiff, and flaky. It will not last long. It is also attached crookedly. The left side falls in front of the ear and the right one over the ear -very annoying. Hat is slightly smaller than I expected based on Amazon's size chart. It arrived promptly and in good condition. I will be keeping this hat, but only because I can't find anything better at a price I'm willing to pay. It looks ok, just like the picture, and will protect my head until I can find a good one. Definitely not worth the price though. Not as advertised and barely acceptable.
