I bought this hat to protect my head & neck when I have to spend time out in the sun. It does a great job at that and was less expensive than a lot of the other similar hats that I was considering. I like the looks, especially the black color. Lighter colored hats can develop noticeable sweat stains. It's not a top quality hat, but it is definitely better than you might expect for the price.
