this is one of carhartts updated version of the earflap hat. This model has the thinner fleece lining in it instead of the other newer one which has a thicker type of shearling look lining. I chose this one because of the fleece inside wouldnt be as hot as the other and feel as thick on your head. This one feels very good and if you want to, the earflaps fold up when not needed. Good going carhartt for this model. This one will get used a lot.

This hat is exactly what I wanted. No fuss, very warm and comfortable, easy to store. On cold nights I even wear it as a nightcap because I don't have much hair on my head.

This hat is too light and too tight. I may wear it indoors but it is not suitable for outdoor use. It is a pretty small fit too. This hat would be good for 7 year olds but that is about it. Thumbs down.
