This hat is junk. The hat is made out of cheap materials, and it completely fell apart in my hands when I tried to shape it a little bit. The "stained" look is painted on (and flakes off), as another reviewer mentioned. The little clip in the front of the hat popped right off, and the little strands of material started tearing apart. The hat was also HUGE, but maybe my head is smaller than average? Don't waste your money on this hat. The company obviously put more money into tags, labels, and packaging rather than the hat itself. The cowboy hat arrived quickly and was nicely packaged. The hat in the picture however appears much lighter in color than the one received. The price is very high too. I had a $10 one from Walmart that was stolen, and I feel that one was actually nicer.Honest reviews on Desperado Cowboy Hat
I was a little bit apprehensive when I bought this hat. I was that it was a little bit bent out of shape when I took it out of the box as it arrived, but once I put it on and shaped it to my liking, I realized that it not only looks good on, and feels comfy, but it also stays in place and goes with nearly any outfit. Replace this hat with my old one served me for 3 years. I first try this hat at REI and the price there is $36 + tax. I didn't buy it! Than I found the same hat here at amazon for much less, so i jump for it! Somehow this hat is a bit different than the one I try on at REI though they are the same company and same style. It feel much cheaper! also the hat I receive has darker color.I wear size S/M size hat, this hat is one size fit all. it works ok on me. and it is comfortable.
