I have been looking for this style hat for my husband for a very long time. Being bald and light skined he like this style . Great for those sunny days and trips to the beach.

Upfront: XL is what you want if your head is size 7 5/8 to 7 3/4 (maybe slightly larger?) in fitted caps. Anyway, you cats with big heads know what I'm saying. Wear it with your light raincoat and amaze your friends with your sartorial savvy. Equal parts hipster, nerd, utilitarian and Japanese tourist. Wear it to the bar, to the gallery, to work, for a quick walk, and most definitely wear it hiking when your fleecy friends are wearing ridiculous high-tech fast-wicking ripstop boonie hats. This is none of that. It doesn't even have a strap. That is to say: it is civilized without being the least bit stuffy. And always, always remove your hat in the presence of a woman, and hesitate to put it back on--nothing looks more ridiculous than a hat.

The hat was nicely wrapped. It's also water repellent. White looks good on alot of colors. Hat band looks great, it kind of reminds me of that Gucci style. It's got that imitation. This hat is NOT made in China by the way. The air vents on the sides of the hat are useful and usual. All bucket hats have them.

The hat is exactly what I had in mind--lightweight, waterproof, nice appearance! It was also reasonably priced and arrived promptly. I'd buy one like this again.
