I bought this for biking to work, but found it completely unsuitable for this use until I modified it with scissors. The tiny pinholes for the mouth are completely inadequate if you are breathing hard from exercise, as is the small nose hole I felt as though I was suffocating and had to take it off! To make matters worse, I wear glasses, and my breath, having nowhere else to go, was forced out through the top, fogging and frosting my glasses to the point of blindness.

All these problems were solved after I took a pair of scissors and cut out a large hole for my mouth and a smaller one for my nose. Now I can breath, the fogging is cured, and the mask is suitable for biking, keeping my face warm. I like the fact that the mask attaches easily, with velcro in the back. I recommend fastening the straps high, above the hairline, rather than around the neck, to avoid the mask riding down your face as you bike.

The mask is made of neoprene, which makes it tight and so it fits nicely around the face. Glad it goes over the ears too, great for keeping warm, probably snow sports (I take no part in any) and those midnight jogs that you love so much.

Only real cons are:

Nose section is large, although this could be useful for some, so I suppose it's a good thing.

There's a small label next to the strap at the back which got a little itchy, so I cut it off, problem solved.

Overall, can't really complain about it. It does what it's supposed to, and has few solvable downsides.

P.S. I did put it on upside down at first and wondered why it felt weird, so make sure if you are to buy this product, to check it's the right way up first.

I thought these would be good for skiing, i live in NW Montana and it gets pretty cold at the top of these mountains, I put on a mask because it was gusting winds with icing snow and it worked pretty well, until i went to put it back on after eating and noticed that it had ripped in at least four places, after nothing strenuous to it had happened in the slightest way. After that it immediately went into the garbage and i just toughed it out for the rest of the day. NOT A DEPENDABLE PRODUCT!

This item is absolute trash. It basically disintegrated after 2 days on the slopes. It seemed like whatever material they used couldn't hold up to the frozen moisture because first the mouth and nose areas fell apart and then the rest followed.

`Shipment was fast and easy, As for the half face mask i thought it was great the first few days I had it. Worked great BUT it broke!

4th day i had the half face mask the side of it riped it self apart, Mind you i was simply walking in from my parking lot to my apartment when i felt the mask get lose once i got in side and took it off i notice the side of it had a big rip in it. Did what i could to fix it(Super glue) Worked for about a day then the mask tore in other spots. The material is cheap as hell and not durable if you attempt to wear the mask even some what tight or snug the material over time tears apart. I hate to give a product a bad review but I am sorry avoid at all cost.
