The neck gaiter is warm and soft, and works well. I notice no improvement over a regular non-shiny-inside neck gaiter. The little silver dots can also be distracting or feel weird against your skin. It might have been better if they covered them with a thin, t-shirt like, material.

The Neck Gaiter has to be pulled over your head, because there are no zippers or buttons to open it. You can pull it up to cover your nose and most of your ears. It didn't slide off when I covered my nose. But wearing it just for your neck the big tag inside will annoy you since it tends to rotate from back to front. I guess I could cut it off.

The problem I had with this is the Thermal technology that claims to keep heat in, I think it is all hype. I wore the neck gaiter on a really cold windy day to cover my nose and neck. When I inhaled air I can feel the cold air coming in where the neck gaiter covered my nose. But when I pinched the fabric against my nose no cold air came in.

And when you use it to cover your nose, when breathing, the moisture will build up on those metal thermal material. I had to wipe it off.

I like that this is easier to use than a scarf, but if you don't want to mess up your hair then go with a scarf. It is definitely over priced!

The Gaiter was as described on-line and arrived on-time and well-packaged. It is exactly what our Grandson wanted for skiing and the reflective heat lining should keep him warmer..... seems like a really good product.
