My husband suffers from a buzz cut, and I suffer from having to play
barber. We live in the Pacific Northwest where the nights are cold,
and an almost bald man doesn't stand a chance of staying warm. So,
I bought him the Port Authority Cotton Beanie Cap. It holds so much power over him that he refuses to go to bed without it.

I have plenty of knit acrylic hats that are too warm most of the time in San Diego. I also have been loving a cotton knit thrift store hat for so many years it is ragged. I went to all the hat stores in San Diego looking for cotton knit hats without any luck so I bought this one from Amazon as a replacement and like this new one just fine. It is much thicker cotton than my old favorite hat so it is much warmer but it still fits well inside my bike helmet and isn't too hot to wear like acrylic hats. I'm bald on top so this hat is good for me in cool weather.

Exactly what I've been searching for for six months -wish I'd saved myself time and trouble and gone straight to Amazon. This cap is perfect for my husband, who is bald and freezing, even in the summer. He wanted a soft, cotton cap that wouldn't irritate his skin, could be easily washed, protected him from sun, and could even be slept in during the winter. This is it -fantastic! As an added bonus, my husband looks pretty sexy in this cap, LOL!

Hubby keeps an almost-bald-head. I like the windows open at night, even through the NC fall & early winter. This allows us to cohabitate. It is well made, and being cotton, it breathes and keeps his head warm without sweating. It fits snug enough to stay in place all night without being too tight or leaving marks all over his head in the AM. I have not washed it yet, but will likely just wash it in the sink and stick it on a hanger to dray rather than with a load of clothes.
