I bought this hat 3 o4 years ago and love it. It is very warm and I think that it's cool (although my wife and college aged kids think that I look like an idiot in it). I live on the Maine Coast and have never had a cold head when wearing this hat.

I was wearing it with my business clothes on the T in Boston this morning and a lady got on wearing the same hat! She wouldn't look at me, though, so I wasn't able to compliment her on it.

This is called, "keeping the warmth" looking hat. My husband tried it on, and he said, "this hat will keep me warm, like a bug in the rug."

So now, I think I'll call my husband, "keeping the warmth."

I purchased the Yukon Tracks Russian hat two years ago and I like the hat. It's the plastic clips that hold the chin strap together that I don't like. Not because they don't work, but because they BROKE !!

IF THIS COMPANY CAN SEND ME A COUPLE OF NEW PLASTIC CLIPS, I WILL WRITE A MUCH BETTER REVIEW FOR THE HAT !!!

Warm and cute. Plastic straps are difficult to open and close. The hat also tends to bow out near my temples, letting air in, even when I tighten it...maybe I should have gotten a smaller size? It fits well otherwise. Overall, an effective hat.
