I tried the transit, the regular Radar Cap, and this one. The transit is by far the best at shedding heat, but somehow they added an extra layer at the top and it does not look like the other 2 radar caps. It wound up making me look like some dutch sailor or something. The transit also has more cotton in it for a different feel which I liked, but the looks killed the deal. I am borderline large-xlarge sizing for OR caps. I can wear the xl if there is a band to tighten them down like on their sun hats. The ferosi is stretchy and I found it to be very comfortable. The Large radar cap fits, but its just a touch tight that it gets annoying after a little bit and I wind up with a headache. As far as shedding heat goes, I found both the ferosi and radar comparable. The ferosi will shed moisture more than then radar. The transaction headband does a good job at keeping the sweat out of your eyes. The radar line takes up hardly any pack space and I highly recommend them for hiking, travel, or just general wear.

Used this hat exclusively when hiking, the color of mine is like blue and very colorful and easy to spot in case I need help. So far, it handled most of the hikes very well. No complain and highly recommend.

Just bought this hat in Aspen, and it's light weight, breathes and feels cool on a 80 degree hike. too early to know if it will stand up, but like it so far!

Great hat. Large fits my medium size head. Vents well looks nice. I ordered two of these. Very pleased. I don't like cotton hats as they get wet and stay that way.
