I always wanted the hood for a coat that was awarded to me, at work, 5 years ago. Even though the coat style has been changed, the color was an exact match and it snapped right on. It is a "Carhart" so it is what you would expect tough, simple, well constructed, and with purpose.

I now own both style Carhartt hoods. I prefer this one over the deluxe model. The fit is the same but the lesser model has the drawstrings which really help secure the hood. I don't know why it's not on the deluxe model. No lower neck strap but I still like this model better.
